The images on my website, began with an early, published portfolio on "California Ruins" in California Magazine, 1982. "The Motels" were exhibited, and selections used for editorials, around the same time. "Off Wilshire" was completed in a year, while walking my baby daughter, up and down this boulevard. "Road Pictures" was updated in 2001 while visiting Italy. "Los Angeles, Dedicated to Raymond Chandler" continues my transition to digital captures, after "Mountain View, Edris Drive, 2006" was the last series that I shot on film. I moved four times, 2006-2012, twice around the corner from Mr. & Mrs. Chandler's residences, while reading his books, and these images reflect that influence. "4th Street, Backyards" describes a long relationship during this period, and was shot from the building we lived in, before separating. I'm ready to move again.....Looking for the area that I want to shoot next, I like to have it right outside my door, if possible......
